How to disable unwanted add-ons in Internet Explorer 8
Many freewares and free web plug-ins offer various toolbars and add-ons to your Internet Explorer 8 web browser. These toolbars and add-ons are often unnecessary and add bulk to your IE8 browser, making it slower in response and speed. Even the most common utilities like Adobe Reader, Adobe Flash Player, run-time Java Virtual Machine (JVM), now offers toolbars that we don't need. Unfortunately, those of us who are not aware of such offerings would accept the toolbar installations by default. If you are one of those unlucky folks, here's how you can remove unwanted toolbars and add-ons from your IE8 web browser.

Concluding Remarks:

You have just disable the undesired add-on. Usually, disabling the add-on will suffice. This, however, does not remove the add-on permanently. To remove it permanently, you can make use of WinUtilities’ “Remove BHO” feature to remove the add-on permanently.

Note: “BHO” stands for browser helper object.
